Description   Catholic King's Shield This is a replica of the medieval Catholic King's Shield, heavy weight 20 gauge steel construction brushed antiqued painted finish and real brass accents. Comes with an attached chain so you can display it on your wall, and has a bracket for adding one or two swords on the back for display. The title of Catholic King was awarded by the Pope as head of the Roman Catholic Church to monarchs who in the eyes of the papacy embody Catholic principles in their personal lives and state policies.
