This "Portiere" has been woven for the marquis de Louvois (1641-1691), director of the "Manufacture des Gobelins" in Paris, in a private workshop at the end of the XVII century. This tapestry belongs to the Dario Boccara collection and the original size is 270x180 cm.

Can be ideally placed over a sofa, a fireplace, in a hallway or any wall requiring decor.
