Decorative Crusader Sword Bronze Finish
Hugues de Payens (c.1070-1136) was s French Knight the Champagne region and was co-founder and first Grand Master of the Knights Templar. At the request of Pope Urban II, he organized the original nine monk-knights to defend pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land.
This handsome sword measures 44" overall and has a bronze finish with a fleur de lis embossed on the hand guard. The scabbard is simulated leather with red leather wrapping. Blade: 30" Blade is not full battle worthy and cannot be sharpened. Perfect for displaying with one of our beautiful shield displays.
