Description   Blackened Steel Mail Shirt. Intimidating butted armor, blackened for moisture resistance. Reminiscent of the Black Prince, who purposefully let his mail darken to a blackish hue. This is a battle-ready, full length chain shirt. Mild steel rings are 3/8" inner diameter and butted, then dipped in black lacquer. 16 gauge.  Flexible for an easy fit, this Medieval Chain mail shirt is a great inexpensive piece for re-enactments. Shirt is 54" around chest. Sleeves hang just below the elbow. Approx. 33" from top of shoulder to hem line.
