Description   14 Gauge Steel Jaw Bone Visor Helmet This battle ready medieval helm usually consisted of a hinged piece of steel that contained openings for breathing ("breaths") and vision. Visors protected the face during battle. Most knights or warriors who wore visors usually were spotted on horses during battle. Each helm is made of 14 gauge high carbon steel and specifically designed to be battle ready (functional use).
