Rogue Leg Protection

Being a bandit is a risky business. It’s full of occupational hazards: stubborn caravaneers who won’t give up their loot, raiding parties from the local Baron, even rival gangs who’ll kneecap you and take your turf. Every rogue needs leg protection.

Our Rogue Leg Protection is an integrated armor system to defend you from hip to ankle. Each of the pair consists of three articulated parts: a tasset to protect the thigh, a poleyn to defend the knee, and an open greave over the shin. Each piece is articulated with leather mounting to freely permit complete freedom of movement. 

Its armor plates are made from 19-gauge (1mm) mild steel, a sturdy and robust thickness that will stand up to the rough and tumble of the LARP battlefield: it is excellent protection from foam weaponry in simulation combat. The steel plates are augmented by high-quality leather panels which have been hand-bound with secure and attractive threading. The pieces are all hand-riveted together for a spectacular armorer’s finish. It is finished in a dark, tarnished effect – it matches our other Rogue equipment, like our Rogue vambraces, or alternatively you could choose the standalone Rogue tassets for a more lightly-armored look.
