(About): Fantastic Wood Analogue Club made from Battle-Safe Foam – Indistinguishable from the Real Thing

Our Wooden LARP Club is probably as simple as a weapon can get, being nothing more than a wooden branch that has been minimally modified to act as a bludgeoning club. The club head is made from where multiple branches split, creating a hard knot where they are cut off. Midway down the length of the shaft is another branch split, acting as an emergency hand-guard. A rudimentary hand-grip has been created by wrapping the lower end of the branch with a strip of leather. And… that’s it. No bells and whistles, engraving, or anything else.

Simplicity and Flexibility

The simplicity of our Wooden LARP Club is its strength: it is an incredibly flexible and versatile weapon. It could fulfil an enormous number of roles, and is the kind of LARP weapon that will always be a part of your ensemble. It could be the weapon of a brutal primitive warrior. It would be the weapon of a monster character, perhaps a goblin or an orc. It might be the staff of a sorcerer. Or maybe the talisman of a druid. The possibilities are endless! This means it’d go with any of our medieval-inspired equipment: a simple monk robe for your Halfling Cleric’s walking stick, to our fantasy-inspired leather armor for a raging barbarian.

Better Than the Real Thing

Our Wooden LARP Club is a far safer and better alternative to using an actual wooden weapon on the LARP battlefield. It won’t splinter, is much more forgiving in impact, and will last you far longer. Epic Armoury’s master artisans have hand-painted the grain of the wood down to the last detail, finishing it with real split-leather for a perfect finish. It is made from anti-shred closed-cell foam and a latex coating around a solid fibreglass core, which is tipped with a Kevlar shield for added safety. It is a reasonably hard bludgeoning weapon, so we recommend that your opponent is armored up before you bash them!
