Our RFB Braided Elven LARP Sword draws together all of the finest traditions of High Elven craftsmanship into a magnificent shining blade. The single-edged sword has a wave-like curve, in contrast to its ramrod-straight back. The hilt is where this weapon shines – it quite literally gleams! The forte of the sword blade meets a brass-effect rain guard before the dramatic swept knuckle-guard. The hand-grip is patterned with a textured interwoven pattern, as well as a beaten-iron-effect front and back. The pommel is a dramatic eagle’s beak, for a devastating close-quarter hilt strike when your opponent least expects it. It’d make a marvellous match for our elven-inspired fantasy armor – particularly the glorious golden Illumine set.

Who Says You Have To Compromise?

You would be forgiven for thinking that such a weapon was fresh from the forge of Celebrimbor – it is made by legendary roleplay equipment makers Epic Armoury (who, as far as we know, are from Denmark rather than Lothlorien). The RFB Braided Elven LARP Sword is part of their Ready For Battle series, designed for new roleplayers and young players: they’re more affordable items, whilst maintaining a spectacular level of overall quality. The RBF Elven LARP Sword is made with a 7mm fibreglass core rod, covered with closed-cell shred-free polyurethane foam and a top coat of latex. The hilt is spectacular hand-painted cast polyurethane, resulting in a rugged hilt with eye-popping detail. It is a mid-hardness weapon, and so will cope with a good deal of rough treatment. It is fitted with a Kevlar core tip, so that in the unlikely event of damage to the blade, the rod will not injure.
